I write or contract software for lots of purposes. My expertise is asset management systems for visual effects productions (surprise) but I occasionally develop products for other industries. If I can't write it for you, I can probably find you someone that can.

A comprehensive asset management system for managing the visual effects in feature films. Works great for 'regular' non-vfx movies too. This link displays a picture showing a few of the forms and work environments. Eventually I will create a page with a feature list and better pictures.
web-enabled project manager for any industry. I didn't write this, but I have developed some installations. Click for a free totally functional demo. If you buy it I get a referral credit, so please go wild!
web-based realtime chat with image and video sharing. I did not write this, but you can buy it or get a limited subscription by clicking this link.
Converts your Avid EDL to a Final Cut XML. In continuous development, it can be customized for your facility and pipeline. I wrote it because there was (inexplicably) no easy way to conform your Avid cut in Final Cut Pro. Well, now there is! This link displays a picture showing a few of the forms and work environments. Eventually I will create a page with a feature list and a description of workflow. Also translates between most edit list formats, and I just added automatic title generation in Final Cut: List Editor will generate per-shot annotations and export them as a Final Cut layer!
This is my preferred development environment. Follow this link to learn more.
I didn't write this either. I used it for the first time on '300' as the basis of our image and video server. I can help you set it up, but you probably don't need me- it's that easy.
programmer's aid for the Panorama development environment. Kind of obsolete, as many features are included in the 5.5 distro. But I still use it.
